Welcome to Mass on 9th August for the 19th Sunday of Ordinary Time. See the Bulletin section of this website for all current info about prayer and church opening times plus Masses and Communion Services. The image on the cover of this blog is just a fun reflection of the caring advice and request in New South Wales, and throughout Parramatta Diocese, to use masks during Mass. Obviously we won’t be using Spider Man masks but the use of face masks is a further step of mutual care in this time. For those who haven’t been back to the church recently, be assured that we have a registered COVID-care plan and that every caution and care is in place to enable us to really be able to relax in prayer and solidarity. So, as we worship peacefully and safely, may our face masks also act as a shared sign of our prayerful concern for those in the world currently most threatened by the pandemic.

Weekend Mass will be streamed live from Our Lady of the Way Church at 9.30am Sunday  – via Facebook. The following is the link to the Parish Facebook account https://www.facebook.com/olowparishemuplains/

The live stream will continue to be available on the parish Facebook page to access at your preferred time

2. MASS BELOW

The Sunday 9.30am live stream Mass from Facebook Live will be added into this blog post (below) as soon as possible after Mass concludes – And so it will continue to be available here at your preferred time.

You might want to slide the timer at the bottom of the picture along just a little to the starting point of Mass, rather than wait

TROUBLESHOOTING:

>> Once the Mass is loaded and visible here it can take some time for Facebook and the Parish Blog engine to speak properly to each other – so realise that it’s not you and give it a little time

>> Playing the Facebook Live Stream from here in the Parish Blog can be a bit glitchy to get started – If so, persevere and try it slowly a few times – it should  be fine
