+ Sunday 9.30am Mass 27th September – see details here

Here’s the blog post with Mass on 27th September – and not to be confused with the date, it’s the 26th Sunday of Ordinary Time in the cycle of our worship year. For local parishioners who have been using this way to link with Mass, we will continue for a while ahead to stream the 9.30am Mass and post it here – but – you might want to also consider a return to physically attending Mass. The COVID-care procedures have been continuing very thoroughly in the church and people have said they feel very safe and relaxed. Anyway, I thought I’d include that welcome this week.

THE IMAGE on the cover of this blog post of the precious young face is connecting to the fact that today in our Church across the world is Migrant and Refugee Sunday. This is a really important focus for us in our faith and an area of human life in which we can make such a difference in people’s lives. You will see that the parish blog post immediately before this one is a special extra post – It is our parish’s special acknowledgement of this day and I encourage you to be enriched by the two short videos shown there, and the other engaging short reflections, prayer etc.

Also see the Bulletin section of this website for all current info about church opening times and bookings etc.

The image above (Image credit: Unsplash Collection) simply honours the fact that displaced people are not faceless – but have stories just like any of us. Pope Francis picks up on this very meaningfully in his message for today’s Migrant and Refugee Sunday. See the special parish blog post immediately before this post to find his words and inspirations for us.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

>> Once the Mass is loaded and visible here it can take some time for Facebook and the Parish Blog engine to speak properly to each other – so realise that it’s not you and give it a little time

>> Playing the Facebook Live Stream from here in the Parish Blog can be a bit glitchy to get started – If so, persevere and try it slowly a few times – it should  be fine

>> Let us know if there are any ongoing issues by emailing [email protected]

SEE THIS PARISH BULLETIN IN THIS WEBSITE FOR ALL PRAYER AND CHURCH OPENING TIMES

WEEKEND ATTENDANCE NEEDS TO BE PRE-BOOKED AS PART OF THE PARISH’S CURRENT COVID-CARE PLAN. SEE BULLETIN FOR DETAILS AND PROCEDURES

Wishing you and your loved ones a happy weekend and week ahead

With friendship in God’s mission
