+ Good Friday – Live stream detail for 3pm Passion – plus link for Stations

Blessings to you and loved ones for Good Friday

  1. Firstly below are details for the 3pm liturgy from Our Lady of the Way church
  2. Further down in this post you can play and pray Stations of the Cross from the Holy Land

Dear friends,

We will live stream the 3pm liturgy of the Lord’s Passion from the church. Those familiar will recognise it as the usual liturgy celebrated on this solemn day in our cycle of worship – but it will be shortened and adjusted due to it now being online.

The 3.00pm Liturgy

This 3pm live stream liturgy is very simple – scripture, prayers, reflection. I suggest that wherever you are, it could be an idea to set up your own space with a candle or a spiritual focus – and take some quiet time leading into 3pm. It won’t be like ‘watching’ a program – but is intended more as a background support and solidarity for your prayer, united with others on this day at the traditional 3pm time.

The Link into Facebook for the Live Stream is

https://www.facebook.com/olowparishemuplains/

You don’t need a Facebook account to use that link. You can copy it from here and paste it into any search bar – or you’ll also find it just by googling something like – facebook emu plains parish

The video view inside the church will be live on Facebook just a little before 3pm ready for the 3pm start to the liturgy – spread the word to anyone you wish

Once the video is live we’ll also put a further link right below this paragraph which will be a direct link right into the video. If you’ve already found it on Facebook or through the above link by that time, just ignore this next link (unless you wish to send it to a friend’s phone at the time). This link  just a way in that’s more direct – that’s given to us by Facebook once the video is running – and again, you don’t need a Facebook account to use this link either

Direct link in at the time is: https://www.facebook.com/olowparishemuplains/videos/223517742197578/

Stations of the Cross

You might like to take some time to use these Stations of the Cross from the Holy Land during your Good Friday reflection. They’ll play right here from within the blog.

Easter Mass will be live streamed from the church at 7.30pm Saturday night via the same Facebook means – and continue to be available to view and pray afterwards.

With friendship in God’s mission,

fr Paul
