Easter Sunday Morning below

Easter Sunday morning 9.30-10.30am – Drive-Through Easter Water, Easter blessing and chocolate!

We will have a ‘Drive-Through’ in the Our Lady of the Way Church driveway 9.30am to 10.30am to receive some new Easter Holy Water to take home and for an Easter Blessing (and chocolate!)

Fr Paul will offer a prayer of Easter blessing for any person or car of people who wishes. And the Easter Blessed Sacrament will also be displayed for your own special moment of Adoration as you drive through. You don’t have to be a local or a regular to come and enjoy this joyful Easter drive-through. And the Easter Bunny might leave something for us to give out too!

We will have a hundred small bottles of new Easter Water for people to take home  – that will be prepared and distributed with very careful hygiene sensitivities OR bring your own water bottle to receive the newly blessed Easter Holy Water

On Sunday morning you’ll still be able to access the Easter Mass from Our Lady of the Way – see below*** and you can also link to 11am Sunday Mass with Bishop Vincent – see below***

“We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our Song” – That quote was apparently used by St Augustine – emphasising that ‘Easter’ is our thing not only at Easter! Ideally it’s the way we live in constant hope and life-giving energy. Every blessing for us all to be renewed in this Easter foundation of our lives. The current very challenging time in the world certainly calls out to be assured in such hope. Perhaps this year can be a particular opportunity to consider how we might be able, as a parish, to offer some expressions of  hope and new life.

Here’s to an Easter Season of hope and joy in the midst of challenge.

With friendship in God’s mission.

fr Paul

NB:

***The Easter Ceremonies from Our Lady of the Way Emu Plains will remain on the parish Facebook page for continued access. See the Holy Thursday Mass / Good Friday 3pm ceremony / and Weekend Easter Mass on https://www.facebook.com/olowparishemuplains/  OR  just google something like  Facebook Emu Parish and you’ll easily find it

***You can join Sunday morning Easter Mass live with Bishop Vincent on the Dioceses Facebook pagehttps://www.facebook.com/parracatholic or via Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/user/ParramattaDiocese

This is the right site for anybody who hopes to understand this topic.
You know so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that
I personally will need to…HaHa). You certainly put a new spin on a topic that’s been discussed for years.
Wonderful stuff, just excellent!
