+ Monday of Easter Week – Pics from the Easter drive through!

Happy Easter Monday Everyone

Big thanksgiving for those who agreed to being so publicly online to do the ministries of our live streamed days of the Easter Triduum. Getting up in public normally has enough of its own strains and challenges. But being publicly live streamed to many who you can’t see – but who can see you – and then remaining online in the posted video afterwards – is a bit like getting up and not getting to sit back down in your own quiet space! Thanks also to a few great background workers who served lots of unseen tasks to make things possible  – and personally I’ll say that one of those tasks was their accompanying of me in a concept of online presence and live streaming that’s new and nerve-racking to me.

This parish blog post is only a brief one today for the public holiday – just some pics of the beautiful Easter Sunday drive-through experience in the church driveway – where people received new Easter Holy Water to take home – chocolate and candles – and had the chance for a blessing and a moment of prayer with the Easter Blessed Sacrament exposed in the driveway.
