+ Weekend Mass 9th-10th May Live Stream

Some Emu Plains Parish locals will no doubt recognise the photo on the cover of this weekend’s Parish Blog post. It’s taken upwards from the back of the sanctuary behind the altar with a view to the less seen coloured glass in the roof. I sometimes look at features of a building – including this view of the coloured glass – and think ‘that’s a bit of a waste – it’s pretty much hidden!’ OR should I see this as an example of it being good for some things in life to be more subtle – less obvious – to draw us into looking more intentionally – and appreciating in some kind of more enriching way? In this instance of the coloured glass, there are times of the day and year where the path of the sun is caught in one of the colours and streams at least a little onto the wall below. Whether or not you think it’s obvious enough, feel welcome when the church is open again to wander up to the rear of the sanctuary and observe it upwards. Maybe that can be small, further reflective way to use one of the spaces in the church at 19 Troy St.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

>> Once the Mass is loaded and visible here later Saturday night, it can take some time for Facebook and the Parish Blog engine to speak properly to each other – so realise that it’s not you and give it a little time

>> Playing the Facebook Live Stream from here in the Parish Blog can be a bit glitchy to get started – If so, persevere and try it slowly a few times – it should  be fine

>> Let us know if there are any ongoing issues by emailing [email protected]

Wishing you and loved ones a happy weekend and ..

with friendship in God’s mission

fr Paul

Thank you Father Paul for another enlightening service that I can share from the comfort of my home and yet feel that I am part of the congregation of your church. God Bless you Father.
