Welcome to Mass on 13th September for the 24th Sunday of Ordinary Time. See the Bulletin section of this website for all current info about prayer and church opening times. God offers us life  –  whether as people with burdens of hurt or as people with burdens of sin. 

Here’s an image someone snapped on the road where someone had written a message in chalk. Today’s homily develops the thought that forgiveness is not only about waiting for someone’s sorrow and then considering forgiveness. Rather, it can be about being released from the trap of remaining subject to other people’s responses and actions that may never come. Especially with the quality human opportunity for our story to be shared, we can be strengthened to release our burden to God to be transformed into unexpected freedom.
